My background is a mix of science and music. I hold a Ph.D. in Physiological Sciences and spent years working as a scientific translator between German and English. But when the generative AI revolution arrived, it transformed professional translation practically overnight. Rather than going down a bitter spiral of grievance, I chose to pivot with a motto that became my personal compass: "AI took, and then it gave."

I had always been interested in coding, but agentic AI development gave me the tools to build at a level of software architecture I once thought impossible. The spark for IP Vault came when I created an AI avatar named Freddy Fingers for my project Montages Media Labs. A friend suggested I ought to protect the asset. My response was typical of me: convoluted, but deeply practical in this day and age.

Instead of paying hundreds of pounds to legacy registration services that store your files on their private servers and issue time-limited certificates of questionable legal weight, I engineered an automated system to anchor cryptographic proofs directly into the Bitcoin blockchain — with 100%% self-sovereign local storage.

Once I built it for myself, I realised every creator needs this. As a songwriter and music producer of many years, I file every single piece of my own intellectual property through IP Vault. When you use this system, you're using the exact same software I rely on to protect my own life's work.
